Specimen Characterization by Negative Staining

Specimen Optimization by Cryo-EM
Further evaluation of monodisperse, stable specimens to prepare high-quality cryo-EM grids with optimal protein concentration, uniform particle distribution, and random orientations. Multiple parameters are carefully optimized to preserve sample integrity during freezing.
High-Resolution Data Collection
Acquisition of high-quality datasets using state-of-the-art TEM microscopes, detectors, and high-throughput automated software. Tailored data collection ensures reliable, reproducible high-resolution results.
Image Processing
Processing of high-resolution cryo-EM data with advanced SPA tools to reconstruct 3D maps at the highest achievable resolution.
Structure Modeling

Cryo-Electron Tomography (Cryo-ET)
In collaboration with Artis Analytica, TEMPoS offers cryo-electron tomography (Cryo-ET) to investigate biomolecular complexes in their native, cellular or near-native context. We provide end-to-end support, covering sample preparation, data acquisition, and tomogram reconstruction and analysis.
Cryo-ET projects are inherently complex and highly case-specific. We work closely with our clients to define the most appropriate experimental strategy based on the biological question and sample constraints.
